Senior Audit Staff (US) | Remote | CCH Engagement

Location: Any (Clark, Tarlac, Cebu)
Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00PM – 6:00AM; REMOTE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audits, reviews and compilation engagements in accordance with GAAS/applicable standards in the USA
• Proficient in preparing financial statements and required financial statement disclosures in accordance with Accounting Principles Generally Accepted in the United States
• Review and approve of work done by lower level staff in accordance with firm standards
• Complete understanding of risk assessment and audit programs
• Able to assess clients compliance with GAAP
• Proficient in preparing financial statements and required financial statement disclosures
• Proficient in performing typical audit work in high risk areas (inventory, receivables, accruals, etc.)
• Familiar with audit sampling to ensure adequate coverage
• Perform employee benefit plan audits (401k plans, 403b plans)

Qualifications / Skills:

• College degree that includes significant concentration of accounting or audit courses
• 3+ years of public accounting experience in Audit
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards in USA (GAAS)
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Standards in USA (GAAP)
• Microsoft Excel
• Utilize CCH Engagement
• Utilize attest research tools
• Demonstrated self starter
• Excellent organization skills
• Customer service/client-facing experience
• Great communication skills
• Multi-tasking and time management
• Positive and professional attitude
• Proficient in memo and report writing
